David Beckworth

David Beckworth is a senior research fellow at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University and directs its monetary policy program. He studies the Federal Reserve’s tools, targets and operating framework, alongside Treasury markets and the dollar’s international role. A former US Treasury international economist, he hosts Macro Musings and holds an economics doctorate from the University of Georgia.
