He co-hosts the Unhedged podcast with Katie Martin, discussing the forces behind financial-market moves. His FT career has included reporting on banking, editing the Lex column and serving as chief editorial writer. Before becoming a journalist, Armstrong worked as a hedge-fund analyst. He holds a doctorate in philosophy from Columbia University.
